Pupil Activity Permit - Coaches Clinic
with Wood County Hospital - Rehabilitation: Sports Medicine
The Coaches Clinic is designed for coaches of scholastic youth who need to receive their Pupil Activity Permit to supervise extracurricular activities. Participants will receive a three-year permit. Online registration is required.
Wood County Hospital Sports Medicine has contracts with schools to provide the Pupil Activity Permit Classes free. Those schools are:
Bowling Green City Schools
Eastwood Local Schools
Elmwood Public Schools
Patrick Henry Schools
The class will cost $45 for coaches from other schools.
CPR for Coaches
with Wood County Hospital - Rehabilitation: Sports Medicine
This classroom course teaches CPR, AED use, and relief of choking in adults and children. This class is intended for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.
Wood County Hospital is an American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center for CPR classes in Wood County. The AHA strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association, and any fees charged for such a course does not represent income to the Association.
