Heartsaver CPR/AED - January 29th, 2025

This classroom course instructs students on CPR, AED use, and relief of choking in adults, infants, and children.
This class may not be accepted for the renewal of healthcare certifications as it is intended for non-medical professionals. Please check with your certification/ licensing agency or your institutional policy.
This class is intended for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. Occupations include, but not limited to: day care providers, teachers, bus drivers, and coaches.
Basic Life Support -February 22nd, 2025

This is intended for healthcare professionals who are required to have qualifications in CPR, or those students who are preparing to start classes in the healthcare field.
This could include Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics, EMT's, Lifeguards, students, and other related careers. Please check with your certifacation/ licensure board/ eductational institution to make sure this is the class they require if you are unsure.
This classroom course covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR, foreign-body-airway-obstruction, and AED use.

PALS- Heartcode (Blended Learning)- February 26th, 2025
with Wood County Hospital - CPR & Advanced Life Support
HeartCode PALS has two main components- an on-line portion, and an in-person ands-on skills session.
Please sign up for this class no later than 2 weeks prior. It may take up to 1 week to receive the link to the online portion you need to complete and then you must complete the on-line portion prior to attending the skills session.
The on-line course content is presented in the form of self-directed learning content, probes, and Cognitive Assessment Activities. The student has a choice of completing a pre-hospital or in-hospital contextualized track.
After on-line course completion you MUST print a copy of your certificate and bring it to the skill session to recieve your card. NO EXCEPTIONS.
The skill session is the date this class is listed as- you must attend the entire skill session to receive your ACLS certification.
ACLS- Heartcode (Blended Learning)- March 5th, 2025
with Wood County Hospital - CPR & Advanced Life Support
HeartCode ACLS has two main components- an on-line portion, and an in-person ands-on skills session.
The on-line course can be completed as the student is able. The content is presented in the form of self-directed learning content, probes, and Cognitive Assessment Activities. This ACLS course teaches the importance of preventing cardiac arrest, high-performance teams, early and continuous high-quality CPR, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, post-cardiac arrest care, acute dysrhythmias, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).
Please sign up for this class no later than 2 weeks prior. It may take up to 1 week to receive the link to the online portion you need to complete and then you must complete the on-line portion prior to attending the skills session.
After completing the online portion, students will attend a structured, Instructor-led hands-on session that focuses on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team dynamics training, megacode cases, discussions of local protocols and skills testing.
The skill session is the date this class is listed as- you must attend the entire skill session to receive your ACLS certification.
Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED - March 20th, 2025

This classroom course instructs students on CPR, AED use, and relief of choking in adults, infants, and children. Students will also review basic first-aid care for emergencies including seizures, enviromental issues, stroke, and how to help stop bleeding.
This class may not be accepted for the renewal of healthcare certifications as it is intended for non-medical professionals. Please check with your certification/ licensing agency or your institutional policy.
